Add Roomba / SONOS / Philips Hue

①.Check the model in Addable devices and purchase the device.

②.Have your email address and password ready.

③.Add devices in each Maker app.

  1. Install the Maker app for the device you purchased from the link below.
  2. Follow the instructions in each app to create and set up an account.(*)
    (The account you create will be used to configure the settings in the HOMETACT App, so please make a note of the ID and password.)
  3. Check the operation of the device on the Maker app.(*)
    (If you can't operate the device on the Maker app, you can't operate it on the HOMETACT App.)

●Knowledge

  • If you have any questions about installing, creating an account, configuring, or checking the operation of the Maker app, please contact the support of the device.
  • If you want to link Philips Hue with HOMETACT, you need Philips Hue Bridge.
    Philips Hue Bridge is connected to a Wi-Fi router via LAN cable. If the LAN cable connection is to an access point in a rental apartment, you will need to prepare a separate Wi-Fi router. For details, please refer to the Philips Hue Bridge instruction manual.
  • When adding Sonos, please add the song on the manufacturer's app before adding the device. It is not possible to link with HOMETACT without a song in it.

④.Add a new device in HOMETACT.

Tap "New Device" in Home, or "+" or "New Device" in My Device.

Tap "Link with BYOD device accounts".

From the list, tap the app for the device you want to add.

If you want to add a second device registered with the same manufacturer's app account, tap the "You already have account(s) for:" app and update your account.

You will be asked for permission to access the app, and tap the "Continue."

Enter the account information you created in the Maker app, and tap the "Login".

The structure of the page differs depending on the device.

After waiting for a while, you will get a message "Account Connected Successfully", and tap the "Continue".

Confirm that the device has been added.

If no devices have been added, swipe down the My Devices page to refresh the view.
