Add TVs with infrared remote control
①．Buy a TV with an infrared remote control.
②．Add a new device in HOMETACT.
If the infrared remote control is Ls Mini Next:
1．
Tap "New Device" in Home, or "+" or "New Device" in My Device.
2．
Tap the "Add TV for IR remote control".
3．
Tap the "LiveSmart".
4．
Tap the "Brand".
5．
Select a brand from the list and tap it.
You can also search by entering a brand name in the search field.
6．
Tap "TV Model" or "Remote Control Model".
7．
Select TV Model or Remote Control Model from the list and tap it. You can also search by entering the model number in the search field.
●Knowledge
If you do not see your model in the list, your TV is not supported.
8．
Tap the "Done".
9．
"New Device Connected Successfully" message will be displayed.
Tap the "Continue."
10．
Confirm that the device has been added.
If no devices have been added, swipe down the My Devices page to refresh the view.
If the infrared remote control is SPOT Mini:
1．
Tap "New Device" in Home, or "+" or "New Device" in My Device.
2．
Tap the "Add TV for IR remote control".
3．
Tap the "LifeSmart".
4．
Tap the "Brand".
5．
Select a brand from the list and tap it.
You can also search by entering a brand name in the search field.
6．
Tap the "Remote control test".
(If you tap the "Manual test", proceed to step 9)
7．
Point the remote control of the TV you want to register at the SPOT Mini and press the power button and volume + button on the remote control.
8．
If the addition is successful, a message saying "TV Connected Successfully" will be displayed, so proceed to step 12. If you can't find the remote control and can't add it, tap "Manual".
9．
Point your SPOT Mini at the TV and tap "Emit".
10．
If the TV turns on, tap the "TV Responded".
If the TV does not respond, tap the "No Response" and repeat steps 9 and 10.
●Knowledge
If all applicable remote controls do not respond, your TV is not supported.
11．
Perform the same check for "VOLUMEUP" and "CYCLEWINDOWS".
12．
A message will appear informing you that the "TV Connected Successfully". Tap the "Continue".
13．
If there is a button you would like to add, tap "Listen".
●Knowledge
If you do not want to register additionally, tap "Done". You can also register additional buttons later.
14．
The message "Receiving" will be displayed, so point the TV remote control at the SPOT Mini and press the button on the remote control.
15．
If the loading is successful, “Registered” will be displayed, so if there are no other buttons you want to add, tap the “Done”.
●Knowledge
If there are buttons that you want to add in succession, register them using the same procedure.
16．
Confirm that the device has been added.
If no devices have been added, swipe down the My Devices page to refresh the view.
