Install infrared remote control (LS Mini Next / SPOT Mini)

An infrared remote control operates the air conditioner by emitting infrared rays from the main unit. Also, if you add an infrared remote control compatible TV, you can operate it from the infrared remote control as well.

Please pay attention to the following when selecting and installing the infrared remote control.

For LS Mini Next:

• The effective operating range is approximately 10 meters in a straight line.
• Infrared rays cannot pass through walls or obstacles, but may be reflected off room walls and glass.
• Operation may not be possible under the influence of strong light such as direct sunlight or lighting fixtures.
• The infrared remote control must be connected to your room's Wi-Fi; please place it within Wi-Fi range.
• If you need to replace the wallpaper when you move out of the room because the infrared remote control is fixed to the wall with adhesive or double-sided tape, you will be responsible for the cost. Please understand this in advance.

For SPOT Mini:

• The effective operating range is approximately 12 meters in a straight line.
• Infrared rays cannot pass through walls or obstacles, but may be reflected off room walls and glass.
• Operation may not be possible under the influence of strong light such as direct sunlight or lighting fixtures.
• The infrared remote control must be connected to the gateway installed in your room (location varies depending on the room). Please install it within the range of radio waves.
• If you need to replace the wallpaper when you move out of the room because the infrared remote control is fixed to the wall with adhesive or double-sided tape, you will be responsible for the cost. Please understand this in advance.

The setting information of the LS Mini Next is retained even after the power cable is disconnected. When changing the installation location, please disconnect the power cable once, and then plug in the power cable at the relocated location and use it as is.

■ Caution
When you press the reset button, not only the information of devices such as air conditioner and TV, but also the linkage with HOMETACT application will be canceled. In this case, the resetting work by the installer will be required, and you will be responsible for the cost. Please be aware of this in advance.
