Settings and registration of OPELO / OPELO entrance

■ Caution

  • The password in the password notification email has an expiration date. Please register as soon as possible after moving in.
  • After the validity period has passed, the password cannot be used. To reissue the email, please contact the support desk.

1.Preparation

A)Prepare the password notification email and the IC card/NFC compatible smartphone to be registered in advance.

  • The password notification email contains the following、
    OPELO entranceRegistration password
    OPELO initial unlock password
    Authentication ID for Android smartphone
  • Up to 300 IC cards and smartphones can be registered.
  • ISO14443A (My Fair) / ISO18092 (Felica) can be used for a wide range of purposes such as transportation cards and employee ID cards.
  • When using an Android smartphone, only devices with NFC/Osaifu-Keitai can be registered with OPELO.
  • When using an iPhone, only terminals that have registered the Suica app or Apple pay can be registered with OPELO.
  • When registering, please remove the IC card/smartphone from its case or cover.
  • Some IC cards/smartphones cannot be used, so please actually register with OPELO and check the operation before using.

B)When using an Android smartphone, after initializing the HOMETACT app, perform the following approval registration in advance.

From the home screen of the HOMETACT app, tap OPELO.

An invitation email has been sent to the email address you registered when you moved in. Enter her Android smartphone authentication ID described in the email and tap "Register".

When the registration success message is displayed, tap "<" to return to the home screen.

2.Registration of OPELO entrance

●Knowledge
When registering an iPhone, activate and authenticate the Suica app or Apple Pay in advance.
When registering for Android, please register an authentication ID from the HOMETACT app in advance.

■ Caution
If you register a smartphone, you will not be able to unlock it if the battery of the smartphone runs out.
It is recommended to register multiple unlocking methods such as IC cards.

Press the "*" to display the numeric keypad.

Enter the OPELO entrance registration password and press "#" at the end.

If you hear "♪beep" (two short beeps), your password has been successfully authenticated.

If you hear "♪beep-beep-beep" (long three times), the authentication has failed. Start again from 1.

Press the number below and hold the device to be registered within 5 seconds.

IC card/iPhone ・・・ 3
Android ・・・ 1

If you hear "♪ Beep", the registration is successful.

If you hear "Piroro ↓", the registration has failed. Start again from 1.

If you want to continue registering other devices, repeat step 3.

Hold the registered device over it and check if it can be unlocked.

3.OPELO first-time entry password registration

■ Caution
Leave the door open when setting up OPELO so you don't get locked out.

Slide the cover.

Enter the OPELO initial unlock password written in the password notification email.

If you hear three long ♪beeps, the password you entered is incorrect. Please try again.

4.OPELO unlock password change

■ Caution

  • The unlock password can be set from 4 to 12 digits. (Double numbers can also be registered)
  • For security purposes, we recommend registering a 5-digit unlock password.
  • Avoid using numbers that are easy to guess, such as your date of birth or phone number.
  • If you have changed your password by mistake, please contact the management company after entering the room so that you will not be locked out.
  • Please change the unlock password as soon as possible after moving in. Please note that the unlock password will be required to register/change the IC card/smartphone/unlock password, and to overwrite the registered IC card/smartphone if it is lost.

Slide the power supply unit cover on the upper part of the room side up to remove it.

Press the "R" button on the bottom right of the power supply unit once.

Enter the current unlock password using the numeric keypad.

When changing for the first time after moving in, please enter the last 5 digits of the initial unlock password.

Press "#" once.

If you hear three long "♪ beep beep" sounds, the password you entered is incorrect. 2. Start over.

Enter the new password, being careful not to make any mistakes.

Press "#" once to register a new password.

7.Confirm unlock

If you press "#" once, "♪ Beep Beep" will sound three times and the door will be unlocked.

5.Overwrite key to OPELO

●Knowledge

  • When registering an iPhone, activate and authenticate the Suica app or Apple Pay in advance.
    When registering for Android, please register an authentication ID from the HOMETACT app in advance.

■ Caution

  • If you use this registration method, all the IC card and smartphone information registered in the past will be deleted.
  • The position that OPELO can recognize differs depending on the smartphone. If it is difficult to recognize, try moving the position of the smartphone.
  • If you register a smartphone, you will not be able to unlock it if the battery of the smartphone runs out. We recommend registering multiple unlocking methods such as unlocking passwords and IC cards.

Hold the key you want to register over the numeric keypad within 5 seconds.

 

Registration is successful if you hear "♪ Piro" or "♪ Peep".

If you hear "♪beep" twice long, the registration has failed. Please start again from 2.

If you want to continue registering other devices, repeat from 6.

Press the "C" button on the lower right of the power supply unit once to complete the registration.

Even if you leave it for 5 seconds, the registration will be completed automatically.

Return the cover.

10.Confirm unlock

With the door open to prevent it from being locked out, push your card/smartphone over the numeric keypad cover until you hear a beep.

The door will be unlocked with three short sounds of "♪ Beep Beep".

If you hear "♪beep beep beep", the key registration has failed. 2. Start over.

6.Add key to OPELO
